Our parishes share your joy as you prepare to celebrate your wedding day. In our Catholic tradition, we understand the covenant of marriage to be a mirror of God’s love for all people. Hence, a wedding is always a sacred moment in the life of our parish community. Whether your wedding is large or small, elaborate or simple, we strive to assure that it is celebrated the with the reverence, beauty and dignity that it deserves.

In order to adequately prepare for your wedding, 6-12 months notice is generally required to schedule a wedding. The priests and deacons here are most willing to assist you in the preparation of your wedding. In some circumstances, preparation may take place at another parish.  A priest or deacon from another parish is most welcome to officiate at weddings here.

Weddings are generally celebrated on Saturdays and Friday evenings. Sunday weddings are possible, provided that they do not conflict with the Sunday schedule of Masses.

Sacred music for the wedding liturgy is arranged through Lucia Clemente Falco, Director of Music,  at [email protected].  Fees for musicians and singers are coordinated through her.

Rehearsals are usually scheduled the day before the wedding, but another time may be chosen.

The offering for weddings at St. Stephen’s and at St. Joseph’s is $250 for parishioners and $ 400 for non-parishioners. The fee covers the cost of marriage preparation materials, the stipend for the officiant, as well as incidentals connected with the wedding (e.g. cleaning the church, etc).
